As I was deciding what I should wear, I started to think about combinations that I had never tried before. I’ve talked about how I have hardly ever worn Converse shoes or skirts and even jeans that often. This year, I really want to expand my style and try different looks on me. One gorgeous Fall look that I’ve been wanting to try was a skirt and an oversized sweater. This Fall look could easily be a comfy  outfit for class or even a chic date-night ensemble. I wanted to start with comfy for class so I opted for my green oversized sweater from Old Navy. I’ve noticed my color scheme in my closet is becoming more neutral. I am buying more earthy tones — mauve, beige, burgundy, dusty rose. This olive-green sweater is one of many pieces that fit into this category . I loved the way it looked on top of my burgundy corduroy button-up skirt from Forever 21. I wore a pair of tan riding boots to pull together my look along with a few statement rings and my gold MK watch.

I can’t wait to play around with these skirt and sweater combinations!
